IGM Creative Group Supports the American Red Cross of Northern NJ
In light of the two major weather events that overwhelmed New Jersey in 2011 impacting the lives of thousands of local residents, IGM Creative Group of Lincoln Park, NJ made it a priority to help.
It did not take long to uncover the organization that has been a constant source of physical help and hope following the flooding of hurricane Irene and the power outages of the October snowstorm – the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey. Located in Fairfield, NJ, this chapter of the American Red Cross and its team of volunteers are extremely active in the area. Not only do they find shelter for displaced residents, but they also provide meals to people rebuilding their homes and assist them financially as well.
Jay Stack, president of IGM Creative Group commented “my co-workers and I wanted to donate to an organization that had experience putting volunteers on the ground and getting the most out of every donated dollar. The Red Cross was a logical choice.”
At a recent business-networking event hosted by LeTip of Clifton and the American Red Cross of Northern NJ, Mr. Stack had the opportunity to make the donation in person. Speaking at the gathering, Ray Shepherd, CEO of the Chapter said “it is the mission of the Red Cross to be there for the community when disaster strikes. Our organization would not be able to take care of the victims of these natural disasters without our volunteers and the donations from individuals and corporations present here tonight.”
